Please note that filling out this form does not guarantee that the title requested will be purchased.  Factors considered in the selection of materials include the collection policy, the cost of the title, and the availability of funds. We do not purchase textbooks for courses being taught.

  • Collaborate to build online research or subject guides for your department and/or specific courses.

Request a Research Guide
Research guides can be created for individual classes or specific class assignments. If you feel a research guide would help your students with their assignments, please consult with your library liaison.

Library Instruction

Do your students have research to do but don't know where to start? The library can help!

We offer several different types of library instruction:

  • Library Orientation. We can give your students a basic introduction to library resources or services. This is great for students who have never used the library before.
  • Database Searching. If your students have research to do, we can show them how to access and search the research databases.
  • Customized Instruction. We can customize our instruction to meet your class's specific needs. Just let us know what you want your students to learn, and we'll design a program just for them.

Library instruction can be held virtually using Microsoft Teams or Zoom, class instruction can be held in the library's computer lab or in your classroom. For more information on library instruction, check out the Library Instruction Research Guide (opens in new window) for more information.

Course Reserves

Do you have textbooks, DVDs, or other items you want to make available to your students? We can house them at the library!
Fill out the Course Reserves Form and bring the items to the library to be placed in the Reserve Collection.
