Library Survival Guide for Faculty & Staff

Use the Library Catalog to locate print books, ebooks, audiobooks, and multimedia by keyword, author, title, or subject. The library catalog is also available from the library homepage, by clicking on teh link "Find Books and More".  

The library subscribes to a diverse collection of databases that provide access to information on such topics as arts & humanities, business, careers, test preparation, criminal justice, electronic books, health, medical, nursing, history, hospitality, language, literature, psychology, science, technology, and much more. 

Go to the Articles & eBooks page to find descriptions of, and links to, the library's online databases. 

• Search by database name or subject using the drop-down menu
• When you are off-campus, use your key account username and password to access databases on the library website. 

Use the e-Journal Portal to find out if the library subscribes to a specific journal, magazine, or newspaper in electronic format.  You can also browse journals by subject. 

A select number of laptops are available for current employees to borrow from the Southern Wake and Scott Northern Wake campus libraries.  These laptops are available for one week checkout, as long as the employee is in good standing with the library and college.
