Need a place for group study? The library has eight rooms that are available for group study use.  All group study rooms have a large screen monitor, computer, and a whiteboard. There are also six individual study rooms upstairs. Individual study rooms do not have a computer.

These rooms must be checked out at the 2nd floor circulation desk and all members of the group must present their student ID cards.

Group Study rooms may be booked one week in advance!

  • Reservations may only be made by current Wake Tech students with a valid student ID and an active, in-good standing library account.
  • Reservations must be submitted using the online form.
  • Reservations may be made up to one week in advance but not less than one hour. Multiple reservations will not be accepted.

A confirmation email will be sent to the requesting student's email and must be presented at the library circulation desk to guarantee access to the study room. If the room is not checked out by the requesting student within 10 minutes of the reservation time, the group forfeits the reservation and the room will become available to another group.

Due to the high demand for the use of group study rooms, there will be a limit to the amount of reservations (up to 2 hours) a student may request per day.

Please review the Group Study Room Rules of Conduct (Word Doc) (also linked at the top of the page).
