Dremel Digilab 3D45 and Flashforge Adventure 3 lite

Printing Process:

1. Once you have created or chosen a design, you must either export or download the STL file.
2. Use the appropriate slicer program (FlashPrint or Dremel Cloud Print) to convert the information from the STL file into a Gcode, which is a specific code containing exact instructions for the printer
3. Flashforge printers require .gx files for printing. The Dremel uses .g3drem files.

• Staff can change the filament before you print if needed and supplies are available.
• Use care when moving around in the Makerspace room. Jarring the machines may cause alignment issues and ruin the print.
• Please do not open doors to the equipment when printing. Wait until the print is complete or canceled, the nozzle has returned to the start position, and the display screen indicates it is safe to retrieve your print. 
• Contact a staff member if you think the nozzle is clogged, loose, or otherwise needs to be adjusted.

Supplies Provided:

PLA 1.75mm filament (Limited color selection available), glue sticks for bed adhesion, scraper to remove prints from print bed, and a small set of files, tweezers, pliers, and scissors to remove rafts and support pieces.

Supplies NOT Provided:

Chemicals, liquid glue, or paints that would be used for cleaning or finishing your 3D prints. Sorry, nothing that can spill and ruin the carpet will be allowed in the MakerSpace!
