Howell Library is able to once again offer laptop check outs during the Fall 2024 semester. Laptops may be checked out starting August 12, 2024. Laptops will be checked out for a period of three (3) weeks. The library can only offer in person device renewals- the library cannot renew devices over the phone or over chat. Please note you will need to complete the Fall 2024 device agreement form even if you have already completed a device agreement form from a previous semester. Beginning with the Fall 2024 semester, Howell Library on the Southern Wake Campus is no longer able to offer hotspot check outs. Please contact the library if you have any questions or concerns.
Howell Library supports the students, staff, and faculty of the Southern Wake Campus. We provide information resources, technology, research assistance, and much more.
Howell Library is located on the 100 level (enter from the courtyard) of Building D. To enter the library, please make sure you have your student or faculty/ staff Wake Tech ID card.
If you are a new student and do not yet have a student ID or are a returning student and have lost your student ID, you may visit Building A (also known as Holding Hall) Room 102 to have an ID made. Please confirm their hours of operation on this page (opens in new window) before visiting in person.
