Howell Library is able to once again offer laptop and hotspot check outs during the Summer 2022 semester(s). Devices may be checked out starting Thursday May 12, 2022. Devices will be checked out for a period of three (3) weeks with the option for one (1) renewal of an additional three (3) weeks. After the first renewal, the device(s) must be returned to the library where you will have the option to once again renew the device if there are no other students waiting to check out a device. If the device is not renewed or returned on time, a hold will be placed on your account with the business office as outlined in the Summer 2022 device agreement form under bullet point 5. Please note you will need to complete the Summer 2022 device agreement form even if you have already completed a device agreement form from a previous semester. Howell Library is located on the 100 level (enter from the courtyard) of Building D. To enter the library, please make sure you have your student or faculty/ staff Wake Tech ID card.
If you are a new student and do not yet have a student ID or are a returning student and have lost your student ID, you may visit Building A (also known as Holding Hall on the Southern Wake Campus) Room 102 to have an ID made.
