Poetry

What is Poetry?

Poetry is "a form of literature distinguished from prose by the use of metre, rhythm, rhyme, sound (e.g. alliteration and assonance), and figurative language." Poetry can be written in many forms. For example, haikus, sonnets, ballads, etc.
