RTP Campus Library: Library Services and Policies

Library Services

RTP Books

General Collection:
The general collection contains books that are available for a 3-week checkout.

Course Reserves:
These are books, videos, and other class materials that are located behind the circulation desk for in-library use only. Items are placed on reserve by faculty members.

In order to save resources, to avoid overworking the printer, and to stop long wait times for printing, we ask that you limit your printing to 25 sheets of paper per day. Thank you for your cooperation.

The library checks out laptops to be used on campus or to take home for the weekend. To check out a library laptop, you must have a student ID and driver's license and no fines or holds on your record. During the week, laptops can be checked out for 3 hours. After 9:00 AM Friday, laptops may be checked out for the weekend and must be returned by 12:00 PM Monday.  For more information on laptops, please visit the library's Information Desk.

Cooperating Raleigh Colleges:
Wake Technical Community College Libraries are now part of the Cooperating Raleigh Colleges agreement. This agreement allows Wake Tech students, faculty, and staff to check out materials from Meredith College, William Peace College, NC State University, Saint Augustine, and Shaw University libraries. Students, faculty, and staff can inquire about CRC borrowing at any of the Wake Tech campus libraries.
