Computers
We have 12 computers and 3 laptops for research use and to type papers, check email, etc. Computers are intended for research purposes; students using Facebook or other social media may be asked to relinquish the computer if there are students waiting to do research. We welcome you to bring in your own laptop. The library offers wi-fi access. The library uses a print management system, so you must have your student ID in order to print. The library does not offer any photocopying services.
Laptops and Hotspots
Laptops and hotspots are available to be checked out. During the semester, students can checked them out for up to 3 weeks.
Reserve Materials
Instructors often place materials on hold in case students cannot afford to purchase textbooks or forget to bring it to school. These items are located at the front desk and are for in-library use only. All reserve materials must be checked out using a valid Student ID.
Interlibrary Loan
Can’t find a book in our library? Check out Interlibrary Loan. The library can borrow books from any of the other Wake Tech Libraries or from CCLINC, the community college library consortium. In the library catalog, click Place Hold on any item, enter "WA" and your seven digit student ID and your PIN (1234). We will email and/or call you when your book arrives.
