This research guide was created to provide you with a list of the many resources available to you through the Wake Tech Libraries. Within these pages, you will find lists of books and journals, as well as links to research databases and websites. You will also find contact information for the library in case you need further assistance. The Wake Tech librarians are here to help you succeed during your college career!

The following services are offered in the libraries:

Wake Tech Libraries are open five days a week.

Most libraries have:

  • Computers
  • laptops
  • a photocopier
  • study rooms
  • emergency flash drives
  • calculators

You can check out books, CDs, and DVDs. To get a library card, come to any library and fill out an application. If you find that we don't have a book on the subject you need, then we can request one from another library. This service is called Interlibrary Loan, and you can do it from home. If you find that you cannot afford your textbooks or forget yours and need to do some work, there is a textbook reserve collection available. Books are not available for all classes, but if your professor has an extra copy, you can ask him/her to place it on hold at the library.

The following services are offered online:

Additional Policies and Services can be found online at the Wake Tech Libraries website.
