Faculty Research Tools: Saving Resources

Finding information and organizing your research.

Saving Resources

There are many options when it comes to saving articles and other resources for your research. You can save copies of articles to your computer, server, or flash drive. You can also use one of the options below.

Save or Email Links to Journal Articles

If you find an article that interests you, you can email it to yourself or save it so that you can access it later.

Example - ProQuest Research Library

Create Accounts in Databases

Most databases will allow you to set up an account with a username and password. This will allow you to save articles for future access.

Example - PsycInfo (EBSCOhost)

RefWorks is available through ProQuest Summon (the Find It All search box on the libraries' homepage). RefWorks allows you to create and save references and to develop bibliographies in multiple formats. You must create an account in RefWorks to save your research information.
