If you can't find what you need through Wake Tech's Interlibrary Loan Service, you may want to try searching for books at other nearby libraries. WorldCat searches public and private libraries for books.
This search box will search all six Wake Tech Community College libraries. You can also request books from community colleges across the state.
If the Wake Tech Libraries do not own an item, you may request it from one of the libraries of the Consortium of Community Colleges. This process is called Interlibrary Loan. We will hold items for pickup for one week from the day we contact you, and then they will be returned to the lending library.
Some materials, such as reference books and DVDs, may be unavailable for loan.
If the library does not have a book or article that you need, you can order items through interlibrary loan (ILL).
What is Interlibrary Loan? Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service that allows our library patrons to borrow materials from other libraries. Materials are mailed to WTCC Library where you can then view or check out the materials.
To find books that are held by other libraries all over the world, you can search WorldCat.org (opens in new window).
